LESSON PLAN FOR 4TH FRADE

Vocabularies	Colors: white, black, yellow, red, blue, green, grey, orange, and purple
Materials	Pictures, puppet and worksheet
Assessment Criteria	The children should be able to respond some information regarding to the vocabularies and have co-operative work as a team.

1^th Meeting

Objective (s):

The children are expected to be able to comprehend some vocabularies regarding to the colors and pronouncing well.

Vocabularies:

Colors: white, black, yellow, red, blue, and green.

1.	Opening	2 minutes
2.	Teacher invites the children to sing a song ‘If you happy’.	5 minutes
3.	Teacher opens the lesson by asking the children about their favorite color.	2 minutes
4.	Teacher shows some papers which have different colors and sticks on the whiteboard. In this step, teacher can ask the children for helping to stick those papers; it makes the children feeling curiosity	3 minutes
5.	Teacher asks again to the children what kind of those colors which have been stacked on the whiteboard.	1 minutes
6.	Teacher guides the children how to pronouncing well.	10 minutes
7.	After the children are able to comprehend and pronouncing well, they will have a worksheet as individually.	9 minutes
8.      0	The children plays a game “Run and Touch”	6 minutes
9.	Closing	2 minutes

2^nd Meeting

Objective (s):

The children are expected to be able to give respond by asking and giving information regarding kinds of colors.

Expression:

A         : What color is it?

2.	Teacher sticks the same papers on the whiteboard from the last meeting.	2 minutes
3.	Teacher uses puppet to give example of how to ask about color.	5 minutes
4.	Teacher guides the children how to pronouncing well.	7 minutes
5.	The children divided into two parts; asking and giving information.	7 minutes
6.	Teacher gives the children some kind of colors.	2 minutes
7.	By working with their partner, they will practice how to ask and giving information using some colors the teacher gave.	6 minutes
8.	After practicing, they will come forward to practice in front of class.	7 minutes
9.	Closing	2 minutes

3^th Meeting

Objective (s):

The children are expected to be able to write the short expression and have co-operative work as a team.

1.	Opening	2 minutes
2.	Teacher sticks some paper of colors and a short expression around classroom.	2 minutes
3.	The children are divided into some groups that consists of 3 person	4 minutes
4.	The children will be in a game; they will walk around the classroom to read a paper and then telling to another friend.	20 minutes
5.	After practicing, they will check for the answer from other friends. The team who gets the higher score will be the winner.	10 minutes
6.	Closing	2 minutes
